Job Description:
Works closely with business partner management to identify and specify complex business requirements and processes. Analyzes requirements to understand the business needs and to determine how assigned applications can best functionally fulfill those needs. Responsible for obtaining key changes including requirements, quality assurance plans, schedule, and scope changes;
Responsibilities:
Develop business functional requirements documents with the cooperation of the Business Units
Evaluate, analyze, and map business processes working with the Business Units to determine possible solutions to increase efficiencies and productivity
Work with the Project Manager to ensure assigned milestones are delivered on time, within budget, and it meets or exceeds expectations
Follow all quality assurance processes, including periodic reviews and transitions and ensures the end product fulfills the project objectives Combine knowledge of what the business wants with knowledge of how the systems are built and used to create a functional design across applications.
Requirements:
Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills coupled with a strong work ethic are required
Expert interpersonal skills; confidence to participate in planning sessions that outline IT solutions that reach business goals
Strong business analysis skills, i.e. workflow design, workflow documentation, application screen mock-up, application functionality documentation, workflow to application screen transition
Understanding the business needs and processes of the client
Ability to jump into projects initiatives mid-stream and ensure a successful solution/resolution
Ability to creatively and productively consult/confer with the business user, developer and management
Ability to juggle multiple, high-priority, division-wide projects
